  • "Salzburg Linz"
    Very good trip
  • "Horrid"
After leaving Prague, we were told that we had to board buses due to construction for part of the track. Train staff did not speak English and we were explained this by another passenger. We boarded buses from 1970, had to get off and reboard another train, then switch cars based on our final destination. Extremely uncomfortable, confusing, and we probably should've been told this before we even left. Lugging a 50lb suitcase on 3 different trains and a bus was not in my travel plans. I would've rented a car if I knew this would happen.
  • "Salzburg to Prague via Linz"
We traveled from Salzburg to Prague via Linz. The trip till Linz was comfortable and as per our expectation. But the second phase from Linz to Prague was the worst nightmare we had, ranging from no pantry, faulty air-conditioning, and dirty seats.
  • "unfortunately"
the train broke down, part of the way we drove by bus, then by train again and we came to Linz with a delay of 3 hours.
  • "missing link"
We ordered tickets from Budapest to Frankfurt but didn't realise until we got to Vienna that Linz
  • "First class booking"
It was not possible to reserve a seat through Raileurope, but there were reserved seats. Finally found a compartment and it was comfortable.
