Known as the Deutsche Bahn’s flagship high speed trains, ICEs literally criss-cross Germany, at high speed and in great comfort. ICE trains service most of the major German cities including Hamburg, Munich, Berlin, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Cologne, Dusseldorf… to quote but a few. With speeds of up to 300 km/h and hourly service, travel on the ICE through Germany is a joy. Some trains also go to Switzerland (Zurich, Interlaken), Austria (Vienna) and The Netherlands (Amsterdam).

 Frankfurt - Hamburg: 3 hours 37 minutes
 Frankfurt - Munich: 3 hours 10 minutes
 Cologne - Berlin: 4 hours 16 minutes
 Munich - Berlin: 5 hours 38 minutes
 Zurich - Stuttgart: 2 hours 42 minutes
 Vienna - Nuremburg: 4 hours 45 minutes

Accommodations:
 1st class offers spacious seats in noble materials (leather, wood), great standard of service and access to lounges in some stations.
 2nd class seats are comfortable, with adjustable inclination and depth, integrated audio connection in the armrest and individual tables.
 All ICE trains are air-conditionned, offering low-noise levels.
 The latest ICE generation with tilting technology even offers a magnificent panoramic lounge at each end of the trains for a spectacular view of the landscape.

On board services:
 Each train has a restaurant car with two sections: the traditional restaurant and self-service bistro.
 All ICE trains offer state-of-the-art comfort and special amenities such as in-seat video screens, an integral audio system, sockets, or telecommunication zones for an undisturbed reception of mobile phone signals.
 Public phone booths and luggage lockers are also available on board the train.
 With exception of the first and last cars, the ICE train is a non-smoking area.
