Edinburgh Waverley railway station is one of the most important railway stations of the capital of Scotland, Edinburgh. The station is the northern terminus for the East Coast Main line, with through services from London to Dundee, Aberdeen, Inverness and Fort William. Edinburgh Waverley railway station is also the terminus of the Edinburgh branch of the West Coast Main Line.

Scotrail, the national railway operator offers many services in the station including routes to Glasgow, the Fife Circle, Stirling, etc. and is the terminus of the Edinburgh branch of the West Coast Main Line. The Edinburgh Waverley railway station is located on the Princess street, approximately 2 minutes’ walk from the Regents Garden and 5 minutes’ walk from the Holyrood Park in Edinburgh.

Travellers can take Lothian Buses 25, X25, 34, 45 and N25 (night bus) from the Edinburgh railway station to reach the city centre. The Airlink 100 service and the night bus N22 connect Edinburgh Waverley station with the airport.
